HACKENSACK- There was a motorcycle accident on Sunday night in Cass County.
A motorcycle, driven by Timothy Johnson, was traveling west on County Road 5 at the intersection of 27th Ave, east of Hackensack, when it struck a deer. The rider and motorcycle came to rest in the south ditch.
Johnson was wearing his helmet, but sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at St. Joseph Essentia.
The roads were dry and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this accident.
