Name a Snowplow contest complete, Bemidji area will see “Plow Bunyan” on the roads

MnDOT’s “Name A Snowplow” contest has come to a close, and the specially-named plow for MnDOT’s District 2, headquartered in Bemidji, will of course be Plow Bunyan.

The seven other winners are “Plowy McPlowFace,” “Ope, Just Gonna Plow Right Past Ya,” “Duck Duck Orange Truck” “Snowbi Wan Kenobi” “F. Salt Fitzgerald,” “Darth Blader,” and “The Truck Formerly Known As Plow.”

Over 122,000 votes were cast for the top eight snowplow names, with “Plowy McPlowFace” a clear winner at over 65,000 votes.
