No injuries in early Fern Township fire

No injuries were reported in a house fire early this morning in Fern Township.

According to a release from Bemidji Fire Chief David Hoefer, firefighters responded to the home and found a fire in the basement.

The occupants were able to escape without injuries, and the fire caused moderate damage to the structure and its contents.

The fire appears accidental in nature, and is currently under investigation by the Bemidji Fire Department.

The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office and Bemidji Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
