Dozens of community health workers from the region and beyond gathered for Northwest Technical College’s fifth annual Rural Community Health Worker Conference.
According to a release, presentations covered suicide prevention, sustainable workforce practices and how to work with incarcerated men.
The conference was intended for employers and potential employers of community health workers, allowing network opportunities and informational sessions.
