Ogema man faces drug charges

An Ogema man is facing several felony charges after more than 30 grams of methamphetamine were seized on the White Earth Reservation.

According to a release, the White Earth Tribal Police executed a search warrant at an Ogema residence on Aug. 23 and found 31.2 grams of methamphetamine, as well as paraphernalia.

The home was known to belong to 49-year-old Marvin Bellecourt.

An arrest warrant was issued by Becker County Court and he was arrested the next day.

Bellecourt is facing charges of first-degree drug sales and two charges of drug possession.
