UPDATED: One injured in crash with plow

One was injured in a crash in Eckles Township Friday morning.

The report from the state patrol says that the driver of a Pontiac was westbound on Highway 2 in the right lane when she attempted to take a left turn in front of a Beltrami County plow, traveling in the left lane.

The Pontiac driver, 65-year-old Janet Schwartz of Bemidji, was treated for her injuries at Sanford Bemidji. She was wearing her seat belt, and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in this crash.

Roads were described as wet at the time of the crash at 10:19 a.m. Friday. Both the Pontiac and the plow went off road.

The plow driver, 34-year-old Robert Fell of Bemidji, was not injured in the crash. He also was wearing his seat belt.
