A Park Rapids man was treated for non-life threatening injuries Monday after the vehicle he was riding in crashed into a tree.
According to the state patrol, 30-year-old Domingo Osorio was driving northbound in a GMC Envoy on Highway 71 near Highway 87 around 3:19 p.m. He then reportedly was distracted and veered off the roadway to the east and struck a tree in Straight River Township.
Osorio was not injured, but one passenger, 20-year-old Mario Cardonez was treated at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids. A second passenger was not injured.
The Park Rapids Police Department and North Memorial Ambulance assisted at the scene.
