Park Rapids pedestrian seriously injured in hit-and-run crash

A Park Rapids woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash Friday evening.

According to the state patrol, the 41-year-old victim was walking eastbound on Highway 34 and was found lying halfway in the traffic lane with a life-threatening injury to her head.

The crash was estimated to be around 9:45 p.m. with an unknown vehicle and unknown driver.

Alice Blue Thunder was transported by air to Sanford Fargo.

The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
