A Pennington man was killed and a Bemidji man was injured after a crash Wednesday morning in Pennington.

Beltrami County Chief Deputy Jarrett Walton says that 59-year-old Jeffrey Imhoff of Bemidji and 44-year-old Neil C. Cutbank of Pennington collided in the southbound lane of the Scenic Highway.

Cutbank was transported by ambulance to Cass Lake IHS where was later pronounced dead.

Walton says Cutbank was not wearing his seat belt when responders arrived.
