A Red Lake man was sentenced to nine years in prison, followed by 20 years of supervised release, for the sexual abuse of a minor.
The. U.S. Attorney’s office says 40-year-old Keith Ehrich pleaded guilty to the crime last July.
Court documents say the abuse took place within the boundaries of the Red Lake reservation in October 2020.
The FBI, Red Lake Police Department, and the Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force conducted the investigation, with assistance from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
