Red Lake woman seriously injured in crash

A Red Lake was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday morning north of Bagley.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 23-year-old Tracy Cook was northbound on Highway 92 when she crossed the lines of traffic as the road curved, overcorrected, struck a culvert then hit a fence line.

Roads were wet at the time of the crash. Cook was in a 1995 Honda Accord and the airbags deployed.

Cook was transported to the Sanford Bagley hospital for treatment of her injuries, described as “life threatening.”

Cook’s passenger, 20-year-old Brady Cook, was not injured.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
