Reinbold to be held in jail without bail or bond

The primary suspect in the murder of Lissette Reinbold will be held without bail or bond.

Forty-four-year-old Eric Reinbold appeared in Pennington County court this morning and is facing two counts of murder in the second degree.

Reinbold, wanted since July 9 for his alleged involvement in the murder of his wife, was released from federal prison in March on parole from a 2018 conviction for possessing pipe bombs.

Reinbold was arrested early Wednesday on a vacant farmyard near Oklee after nearly a month on the run.

Reinbold has a history of domestic violence, with a 2015 conviction for ramming into Lissette’s car with two of her four children inside.

Lissette is the state’s 15th confirmed victim of intimate partner homicide, according to Violence Free MN.
