Road construction on the Scenic Highway in Blackduck will begin today.
According to a release from Beltrami County Highway Engineer Bruce Hasbaargen, a detour for County State Aid Highway 300 is scheduled to be in place today and the road will be closed to through traffic.
Traffic control signs will be installed and grading operations will begin. Drivers are asked to use caution in and around the construction zone.
