Sanford’s Swank Reminds Residents Covid Is Still Around

Dr. Colleen Swank, Vice-President of Clinic

The weather is warmer. People are engaging in typical summer activities. On top of that, businesses and organizations are reopening, including restaurants and churches. Life seems to easing back to “normal”. It can even seem, at times, that Covid-19 is a thing of the past.

But Dr. Colleen Swank, Vice-President of Clinic at Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota, says Covid-19 has NOT gone away, and if we are going to get back to a more traditional way of life, we will have to continue to take precautions personally and corporately to stay safe.

A number of states, in fact, are seeing infection rates spike as business and society open up. Thus far, that hasn’t appeared to be the case in Minnesota, but Swank says taking precautions will be key to keeping it that way. Listen to Dr. Swank’s interview with Kev Jackson HERE:
