Situation Update for Friday, Dec. 11

The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting 3,773 new COVID-19 cases today and 94 new COVID deaths, bringing the case count to 370,968 and the death toll to 4,292.

Of all deaths, 2,819 were residents of long-term care or assisted living facilities. Of all cases, 27,571 were health care workers.

Over 58,000 tests were completed yesterday, with 4.789 million tests completed since the pandemic began.

To date, 327,509 COVID-19 patients no longer need to be isolated.

Thirty-eight new COVID-19 cases were reported in Beltrami County today, and one new COVID-19 death, a resident in their late 60s. To date, Beltrami County has seen 2,561 COVID-19 cases and lost 24 residents to the virus.

Seventeen new COVID-19 cases were reported in Cass County, for a total of 1,705 cases and 13 deaths; six new cases in Clearwater County, for a total of 605 cases and 10 deaths; and 13 new cases reported in Hubbard County, for a total of 1,273 cases and 33 deaths.
