The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting 586 new COVID-19 cases today and six new deaths, bringing the state’s case total to 469,254 cases and the death toll to 6,308.
Of all deaths, 3,977 were residents of long-term care or assisted living facilities. Of all cases, 37,019 were health care workers.
Today’s data comes after around 11,000 tests were completed yesterday. Over 3.322 million Minnesotans have been tested for COVID-19, with 6.808 million tests completed.
MDH is reporting one new COVID-19 case in Beltrami County today, three new cases in Cass County and two new cases in Clearwater County.
Since the pandemic began, Beltrami County has had 3,253 cases and 48 deaths, Cass County has had 2,136 cases and 24 deaths, Clearwater County has had 698 cases and 14 deaths, and Hubbard County has had 1,561 cases and 39 deaths.
