Summer food, learning opportunities

The Bemidji Area Boys and Girls Club will offer free lunches and snacks to enrolled members.

Lunches and afternoon snacks will be provided to all enrolled members of the club. Lunch is from noon to 1 p.m., and snacks are from 3 to 4 p.m., starting Monday, June 8.

Bug O Nay Ge Shig School is offering a weekly cultural, hands-on crafts and learning opportunities as well as reading and math practice from June 9 to the 26. According to a release, participants are encouraged to save their spot by tomorrow. Call or email Petra Rodrigeuz at 218-398-5330. Chrome books will be sent home with the children to practice activities at their own pace.

Bug O Nay Ge Shig will also offer meal services to students through the month of June.

Bemidji Community Table continues to provide bag lunches and beverages Monday through Thursday, with distribution at Mt. Zion Church Mondays sand Tuesdays, and distribution at the United Methodist Church Wednesdays and Thursdays.
