Three arrested in Cass County drug investigation

Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reports three were arrested after a drug investigation in the Backus area.

According to a release, a search warrant was executed at a Backus residence Monday, and an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine, pills and other paraphernalia was seized.

Four were in the residence at the time of the bust.

Thirty-three-year-old Richard Roubal, 33-year-old Jeffrey Thorson, and 24-year-old Shieann Tilbury, all of Backus, were arrested, and a fourth person will be charged pending further investigation.

“The Cass County’s Sheriff’s Office is committed to continuing these drug investigations, search warrants and making arrests in an effort to promote public safety in our communities of Cass County,” said Burch.
