Three injured in alcohol-related crash in Hubbard County

Three were injured last week in an alcohol-related crash in Hubbard County.

According to Sheriff Corey Aukes, deputies responded around 5 last Friday morning on report of a one-vehicle crash at Hubbard County Roads 45 and 39.

The witness reportedly saw three people crawl out of a badly damaged vehicle that rolled into a swamp.

Deputies found the three on the roadway upon arrival.

Thirty-two-year-old Travis Heusers of Bemidji was driving south on County 45 in a Chevy Trailblazer when he went through a stop sign, entered the ditch and overturned.

He was transported to Sanford Bemidji for treatment of a head injury.

His passengers, 36-year-0ld Charles Larose of Bemidji and Alyssa Beaulieu of Dilworth, were also transported to Sanford Bemidji for treatment of various injuries.

Aukes says alcohol was a factor in the crash that remains under investigation.
