Three men charged for roles in burglary in Bemidji Township

Three men were formally charged for their roles in a burglary on Little Norway Avenue.

Beltrami County Sheriff Jason Riggs said deputies responded to a burglary in progress last Friday.

The caller and homeowner reported the crime while monitoring their security camera system, providing a clothing description of the two suspect males.

Deputies arrived on the scene within minutes and found a silver car leaving the immediate area.

Authorities found the two men matching the description in the video crouched in the backseat, with the driver also arrested for assisting with the crime.

Twenty-four-year-old Jon Raisch, 30-year-old Devin Proffit, and 33-year-old Jordan Jones have been charged with either first- or second-degree burglary.

The victim’s property was returned after deputies recovered it from the vehicle.
