Two arrested after Cass County drug investigation

Two were arrested Saturday after a drug investigation in Pine River.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says they conducted a traffic stop in the outskirts of Pine River and located small amounts of methamphetamine, heroin and ammunition, which were also seized.

A follow-up search warrant was executed at a rural Pine River home where over a half-pound of suspected methamphetamine and two grams of heroin were seized.

An AR-15-style rifle was also recovered.

Fifty-five-year-old Daniel Crawford and 30-year-old Sarah Wolff, both of Pine River, are facing charges related to drug possession and weapon offenses.
