Two arrested after search warrant for narcotics in Cass Lake

Two are facing charges after a search warrant for illegal drugs in Cass Lake last Friday.

According to a release from the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, a search of the property on Facility Center Drive led the discovery of fentanyl, methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, prescription pills and multiple handguns.

The release says other items found were indicative of the sales of narcotics.

Multiple children were removed from the residence.

Thirty-year-old Dominic Meeshenow and 30-year-old Cheyenne Norris are facing charges in Cass Counnty, with more possible charges for others located inside the residence at the time of the bust.

The LLTPD says information from community members continues to play a vital role in the successful seizure of illegal drugs in the area.
