Two arrested in Cass Lake drug bust

CASS LAKE– Two were arrested in a drug bust on the Leech Lake Reservation Monday.

According to a release from the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, officers and agents with the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the Norway Heights area of Cass Lake.

An amount of methamphetamine, Gabepentin, a hand gun and other drug paraphernalia items were seized in the search, and 41-year-old Vicky Goggleye and 43-year-old Norman Goggleye were arrested awaiting charges of fifth degree possession of a controlled substance and child endangerment.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
