Two injured in alcohol-related, head-on crash in Hubbard County

Two were injured in an alcohol-related crash in Hubbard County Saturday night.

According to the state patrol, a Ford Fusion, driven by 46-year-old Gina Arancivia of New Town, ND, was eastbound in the westbound lane of Highway 2 near Wind Flower Road.

The Fusion struck a Chevy Malibu head-on.

Arancivia was not injured, but is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

Arancivia’s passenger, 42-year-old Christopher Turner of Akeley, was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the scene.

The Malibu driver, 23-year-old Cody Olson of Bemidji, was also treated for non-life threatening injuries at the scene.

The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with this crash.
