United Way grant applications now open for local nonprofits

The United Way of Bemidji Area is currently accepting applications through March for nonprofits who serve clients in Beltrami County.

According to the release, agencies must have 501(c)3 tax status, volunteer leadership that represents diverse elements of the Bemidji area, and must provide a local community service based on documented needs within one or more of the United Way’s community impact areas: Education, Basic Needs and Health.

Applications for funding from the United Way are due March 31.
