Volunteer Heartland Lakes website connects volunteers to organizations

The United Way of Bemidji Area announced a recently revamped website to connect volunteers with organizations.

According to a release, volunteers will be able to find local opportunities, events and agencies that need donations such as clothing and furniture.

Volunteer-oriented people can also sign up to receive email updates. Changes to the Volunteer Heartland Lakes website include no more fees to participate and no need to create a website account.

More information is available at the new website.
