Winkler named Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce Chair

Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota’s Community Relations official Kayla Winkler was named chair of the Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Winkler re-joined the board in 2019 and has been involved with a number of Chamber activities, including the Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat Festival and serving on a number of committees.

Winkler has worked for Sanford for three years and lives in Bemidji with her husband Bill, owner of Top Shelf Hockey Shop, and her three children.

“Winkler brings her talents to the organization with a vast network of colleagues and business connections, expertise on community initiatives and issues, experience serving community boards, hospitality industry knowledge, and passion for helping the Bemidji business community succeed,” said the release.

The Chamber Board will also have Kraus Anderson’s Tracy Pogue as vice-chair, Ultima Bank’s Jordan Anderson as finance director, and First National Bank’s Bruce Bentfield for the at-large seat for this next year.
