Each week learn about the gunas (qualities of the physical and material world): tamas (inertia), rajas (movement) and sattva (balance).
Students will:
• Learn which of the gunas is prominent in their life.
• Learn how these qualities show up in our diets, the gifts we give, how we seek happiness, and how we seek spiritual fulfillment.
• Learn how to detach from extremes of good and bad.
• Learn how to nourish a balanced state of being through self-inquiry.
After the 30-minute chat, enjoy a 60-minute flow class that combines active effort and stable postures to bring about a state of harmony in the breath, body, and mind. Classes are all-levels and include pranayama and meditation. Bring your own yoga mat. Register online at www.ci.bemidji.mn.us or call 218-333-1857 with any questions.
