The Bemidji Public Library and the Beltrami County Historical Society are presenting an exhibit and program series titled Niimi’idiwag, or They Dance.
This exhibit is described as an exploration of the Anishinaabe powwow, of the tradition, the music, the regalia, and the dances.
Darrell Kingbird and the Eagle Clan Drum Group from Ponemah and special guest Minnesota State Supreme Court Justice Ann McKeig are expected at the opening ceremony of the exhibit next Wednesday at the Historic Depot.
The ceremonies will begin at 6 p.m.
