The Bemidji Public Library and Beltrami County Historical Society are honored to present the exhibit and program series Niimi’idiwag (They Dance), an exploration of the history of the Anishinaabe powwow. Join us as we welcome Logan Monroe, Leah Monroe, and the Sugar Point Singers as they present Exploring Powwow Regalia and Dance, Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the Beltrami History Center, 130 Minnesota Ave, Bemidji, at 6.00 p.m.
The fourth event in our series, Niimi’idiwag (They Dance), Exploring Powwow Regalia and Dance will feature the Legan and Leah Monroe and the Sugar Point Singers. Join us as the Sugar Point Singers exhibit powwow dancing and explain the regalia of the powwow including the dresses, shawls, headdresses, and more. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the Beltrami History Center, 130 Minnesota Ave Bemidji, at 6 p.m.
