The Bemidji Public Library is pleased to welcome local author and traveler Polly Scotland to the library Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m.
Join us as Polly takes us by kayak and foot through the Arrowhead, Western Lake Superior, Isle Royale, and a few points farther afield as we go on a journey through her new book The Adventurer and Her Husband.
Polly lives near the headwaters of the Mississippi in Northern Minnesota when she is not exploring the more remote regions of the world. She has been on hikes and kayaking trips in Minnesota, the Southwest, Nepal, and Italy and loves to travel to out-of-the-way places with her husband Lee. Join us as we explore Minnesota and a bit of the rest of the world, Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at 6 p.m at the library. The program will also be viewable on the library’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BemidjiPublicLibrary.
The Bemidji Public Library is committed to providing the community with informational resources to enrich their lives. The library is open from 9-7 Monday through Thursday and 9-5 Friday and Saturday and provides a wide range of services to its patrons including WIFI, fax, printing, copying, and our new legal kiosk. This program, and many others, is made possible through the Minnesota Legacy Amendment that supports the arts, culture, and heritage of Minnesota.
