Gigazone Gaming Championship and TechXpo announce tournaments

Organizers with Paul Bunyan Communications’ 6th Annual Gigazone Gaming Championship and TechXpo announced scheduled tournaments for the April 22 event.

According to a release, the main stage tournament will feature Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate.

Other tournaments include Overwatch 2, Mario Kart 8 Delux, Madden NFL 23, Rocket League, Magic the Gathering Booster Drafts, and junior tournaments for kids 13 and under for Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

“There is a large gaming community in our area and GigaZone Gaming Championship not only showcases some of the region’s best gamers, but it gives everyone a chance to get in on the action!” said Gary Johnson, President & CEO of Paul Bunyan Communications.

Registration for all tournaments will begin at the Sanford Center the day of at 10 a.m.

Steve “The Woz” Wozniak, Apple co-founder, was previously announced as a special guest and speaker.

Interested exhibitors for the TechXpo portion of the events should submit their free application by March 1.
