More than $42K raised in Boys & Girls Club golf championship

The 18th Annual Boys & Girls Club of the Bemidji Area Fore Club Kids Bob Lowth Ford 2-person Golf Championship raised more than $42,000.

The tournament on Aug. 22 consisted of 104 golfers at the Bemidji Town and Country Club.

The first-place winning team was Jacob Jorde and Ryan Baer. Second place went to Steve Carter and Brennan Hockman, and third place to Derek Hanson and Tom Vanasse.

This tournament has raised more than $374,000 in support of the Boys & Girls Club. The 19th event is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at the Bemidji Town and Country Club.
