Public’s help requested as homicide investigation continues

Authorities are still seeking information about a recent homicide north of Bemidji.

According to a release from Beltrami County Sheriff Ernie Beitel, the investigation has continued since the homicide three weeks ago.

Deputies and a DNR conservation officer responded to a residence in Turtle River Township and located 29-year-old Warren Beaulieu’s body.

The medical examiner’s office ruled the death a homicide.

Deputies initially responded to the scene on Chokecherry Dr. NE after a report of a shooting.

Anyone with information on this crime can contact the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office at 333-9111, option 2, or submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to possibly qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
